Train Intentionally.
The problem isn't how hard you train. It's how your training is designed.
ABOUT US
A Brazilian jiujitsu gym in Haaga, Helsinki.
The Academy is built around how the body actually learns — through problems, not patterns. Whether you've never trained before or you've been on the mat for years, this is a place built around understanding, not just repetition.
Opening August 2026.

THE STORY
Johan Jaumain came to jiujitsu from a different direction. He trained as an etiopath and massage therapist — his work was reading how bodies move, compensate, adapt, and learn. When he began coaching jiujitsu, those two worlds ran in parallel, each asking the same question from a different angle: how does a person actually acquire a skill they can use when it matters?
He carried that question through seven years of coaching. When he found the Constraints-Led Approach, it wasn't a discovery. It was recognition.
'If you know the way broadly, you will see it in everything.'

THE METHOD
You give them a task. A position, a constraint, a problem with no prescribed answer. And something shifts. They stop waiting for the next instruction. They start finding their own way through it.
That moment — someone genuinely problem-solving on a mat — is what The Academy is designed to produce. Not in Year 3. From the first session.
WHO IT'S FOR
The Academy is for people who want to understand what they're doing — not just do it.
Whether you've been training for years and something isn't transferring, or you've never stepped on a mat and want a place that will actually explain the why — this is built for you. The methodology doesn't change. The entry point does.
